The quirky, whimsical plot and crisp, awe-inspiring visuals in the 2001 classic, Amelie, make it a heartwarming and amusing movie for everyone.  In this French Jeunet film, Amelie shows us that the simple things in life are the things worth living for.  After experiencing a rather eccentric childhood, Amelie sets off on a journey to offer simple acts of kindness to others and in the process, is turned topsy turvey when running into the very person she has been waiting for all of her life.  After all, what’s life without skipping rocks, cracking the top of crème brule with the back of your spoon or, of course, true love?
